Sear My Steak has no accounts and sets no tracking cookies. The only thing the site remembers is your °F or °C choice, stored in your own browser.
What we store
Your temperature unit preference is saved in your browser's local storage so the planner remembers it. It never leaves your device.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure.
Links to other sites
Gear pages link to retailers such as Amazon. Once you leave our site, the retailer's own privacy policy applies.
Changes
If we add features that collect data, such as accounts or photo uploads, we will update this page before they launch.
