Affiliate disclosure
Our gear pages do not currently use affiliate links. If we add them, this page will say so and every gear page will carry a clear notice.
What this means for our picks
Commissions never decide what we recommend. Picks are chosen first from published specifications and independent testing, then linked. We do not accept payment for placement, and we do not publish star ratings.
Tested versus researched
Most picks are researched, not hands-on reviews. A pick marked We cooked with it has been tested in our kitchen. See our editorial standards.
